Video Retention and Deletion Policy
Purpose
Fitness videos up to 30 seconds that you select or record are used only for requested AI form analysis, failed-processing retries, security maintenance, and delivery of analysis results. They are not used for public display or third-party advertising.
Storage and access
Videos are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled Google Cloud Storage. They are not publicly browsable; only service accounts required to operate IronLog can access them.
Retention and deletion timing
- Automatic retention: the original is retained in private Cloud Storage for up to one day after upload for AI analysis, failed-processing retries, and playback by the member during analysis or from results.
- Automatic expiry: Cloud Storage lifecycle schedules deletion after one day. Provider processing may occur slightly later than exactly 24 hours. IronLog shows that the video is expired or unavailable when the object no longer exists.
- No soft-delete copy: Cloud Storage soft delete is disabled on the dedicated form-analysis bucket. Once lifecycle, analysis deletion, or account deletion removes an original, no recoverable soft-deleted object is retained.
- Analysis deleted by user: any remaining original object is deleted before the analysis record.
- Account deleted by user: all remaining videos, results, and member data for the account are deleted.
- Phone photo library: mobile Web cannot continuously track a photo-library asset. Deleting the phone copy does not delete IronLog's private cloud copy before its expiry.
- System records: necessary security and audit records that do not contain the original video are removed or overwritten within limited periods required by law and operations.
Analysis results
After the original expires or is deleted, structured results such as exercise, camera angle, score, strengths, improvements, and safety notes remain until you delete the analysis or account.
Your controls
Delete an individual record from Form Analysis or permanently delete your account in Member Profile. If you cannot sign in, use the account deletion request.
